Each year the Club requests local businesses to sponsor one or more disadvantaged children to a day out at the Movies.

Tickets are distributed to a number of accredited Children’s organisations which, in turn, ensure that appropriate families receive the movie tickets.

On the nominated Movie day, typically 1,000+ ticket recipients attend the El Dorado Theatre at Indooroopilly to enjoy a selection of children’s films. Each child is also presented with sweets.

The event is a stimulating experience for families who quite often are simply unable to manage such an outing.
